The Five Footway Festival is coming to Chinatown Singapore Street Market from 11-19 March, offering a unique journey back in time to celebrate Singapore’s culture and heritage. From traditional Chinese opera, wu-shu (martial art performances), and lion dance performances to photo exhibitions, old school games, workshops, and heritage food stalls, there will be something for everyone to enjoy. Popular childhood games such as chapteh and hopscotch will also be available, creating a sense of camaraderie among the community. To tantalize taste buds, traditional delights such as malt candy giveaways and a Hainanese kueh yi-bua workshop will be available. Don’t miss this exciting opportunity to celebrate Singapore’s culture and heritage.
