Future Academy is a MOE-registered tuition centre in Singapore founded in 2015 by Ms. Yvonne Chen, a NIE-trained former teacher at Raffles Girls' School.

The academy was born from the high demand for Ms. Chen’s private tutoring services. After she resigned from her teaching job at Raffles Girls’ School, students continued to seek her mentoring because of her effective methods. What started as a series of private small group tutorial sessions later led to the establishment of one of Singapore’s top tuition centres that now has 3 branches in the city.

Ms Chen currently runs the academy alongside Mr Lau Hock Soon, former Head of the Mathematics Department at Hwa Chong Institution.

Highlights:

Class sizes are kept small with up to 6 persons per class so that tutors can focus more on each student’s individual learning growth.
Tutors teach with a personalized approach, adapting the teaching methods according to each student’s strengths and weaknesses.
Customized worksheets are provided based on each student’s learning level and ability.
One-on-one consultations are offered to students who need more help with their learning.
Tutors keep constant communication and provide regular feedback and updates to parents about the learning progress of their children.
