1. Mild Cases

In cases where the drooping is mild or the breasts are small, breast augmentation is recommended. This is undertaken by means of implants. Silicone gel implants in the shape of a teardrop are inserted over or under the chest muscle.

2. Severe Cases

If the sagging is severe, surgery is undertaken which usually involves a ‘T’-shaped incision through which excess skin is removed. Thereafter the nipple and areola are moved to a higher position and the breast is reshaped accordingly. Usually, the patient can resume normal activity after a few days.
