K-Pop boy band, Wanna One, is embarking on a world tour and making a stop in Singapore this July! This popular Korean band was formed in 2017 through the reality TV show, “Produce 101: Season 2” with 11 members: Yoon Ji Sung, Ha Sung Woon, Hwang Min Hyun, Ong Seong Wu, Kim Jae Hwan, Kang Daniel, Park Ji Hoon, Park Woo Jin, Bae Jin Young, Lee Dae Hwi, and Lai Kuan Lin.

The band’s debut single, “Energetic”, topped various music charts, while their latest mini album, “I Promise You (I.P.U)”, was pre-orders for more than 700,000 copies. Other hits include “Boomerang”, “Burn It Up”, and “Beautiful”.

Despite debuting less than a year ago, Wanna One has received several major awards like “Album of the Year” and “Song of the Year” from 7th Gaon Chart Music Award 2017, “Main Prize” and “New Artist Award” from 27th Seoul Music Awards, and “New Artist of the Year” from the 32nd Golden Disc Awards. They also bagged the Best Korean Act Award at the MTV Europe Music Awards 2017.
