The award-winning Hubei Provincial Peking Opera Theatre will perform five of their signature works including excerpts from “Xu Ce Running to the City Wall”, “Meeting the Queen”, “Monkey King Battles the Water Demon”, “Wu Jia Slope”, and “Farewell My Concubine”.

Yamaha Music brings back the Asia-Pacific Electone Festival this October at the Capitol Theatre in Singapore. 23 contestants from China, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, Taiwan, and Thailand will compete for a chance to attend the Yamaha Electone Concours Final in Japan this December.
The first Electone Festival was held in Japan in 1964 and was originally named All Japan Electone Concours. It became an international competition in 1974 and was later renamed to its current festival name.
