Shakespeare in the Park returns to Singapore this May 2018 with Julius Caesar. This production, directed by Guy Unsworth (Hand to God), brings to life Shakespeare’s political thriller with a modern twist.
The Singapore Repertory Theatre presents an updated version of the Shakespeare classic, which tells the story of greed, ambition, and power. Trouble brews as leaders of the R.O.M.E 7 countries gather for a summit and assassination plots against Caesar are hatched.
The production stars Jo Kukathas (Romeo & Juliet) as Julius Caesar alongside Ghafir Akbar (Disgraced), Daniel Jenkins (Hand to God, Romeo & Juliet), Thomas Pang (Hand to God, Romeo & Juliet) and Julie Wee (The Merchant of Venice).
Food and beverage during the event are provided by The Providore.
